Design & Details
This costume includes a grey French terry sweater with “1972 Olympics” printed across the front, a brown polyurethane belt, and a black polyurethane fingerless glove. The sweater is 100% polyester and has the comfortable, lived-in weight of someone who has been wearing athletic gear for decades and sees no reason to stop. The belt cinches over the top for that authoritative, I-mean-business silhouette that the character absolutely demands.
The single fingerless glove is the detail that does the most work here it says “athlete,” it says “I have a very particular skill set,” and it says “do not ask follow-up questions.” Pants, boots, and a hammer throw prop are not included but are strongly encouraged for the full effect. The prop ball shown in product images really does complete the look in a way that’s hard to overstate.
