Description
The Man Behind The Curtain
Somewhere in the Emerald City, a very small, very serious man is running a very large operation on very little sleep. Your kid gets to be that guy. The Wizard himself part con artist, part showman, entirely convinced he can pull this whole thing off with a curtain and good lighting.
There’s something genuinely funny about a child dressing as the one adult in Oz who clearly had no idea what he was doing the entire time. Big energy. Questionable qualifications. Impeccable coat.
Design & Details
The dark green twill jacket features white broadcloth cuffs and a tailcoat cut that means business, even when the business is pretending to be an all-powerful wizard. The vest is faux wool with a patterned front, button-down styling, and a gold chain attached at the center because the Wizard was nothing if not committed to the bit.
Pants are printed twill with vertical stripes and an elastic waistband for an easy, comfortable fit. The white dickie and attached black bowtie tuck neatly under the vest, and the dark green molded felt hat with gold band tops the whole look off. All pieces are 100% polyester, and the costume is officially licensed from The Wizard of Oz.
Smoke, Mirrors, Sold
This is a kid dressed as a man who convinced an entire magical kingdom he was omnipotent using a microphone and some fog. If that’s not an inspiration to every child who has ever faked knowing the answer in class, nothing is. The curtain is open. Your kid’s already in character.
