A Way With Words
Many pumpkins spend Halloween grinning silently from the porch. Vilevine has a little more going on. This four-foot tall jack-o’-lantern not only looms in the yard with a wicked smile; he’s also here to perform! Between bursts of laughter and dramatic screams, Vilevine recites a haunting little verse warning visitors to beware the night when the moon is bright.
Draped in tattered farmhand clothes and framed by straw, he looks like the scarecrow who stayed out in the field far too long and picked up a poetic streak along the way. Guests wandering up the path may expect the usual pumpkin stare, only to discover they’ve stumbled into a rather theatrical Halloween monologue.
Design & Details
Vilevine the Wicked Pumpkin Animatronic Decoration features a sinister pumpkin skull head with flashing orange lights glowing inside, giving his carved grin an eerie pulse in the darkness. His head slowly turns from left to right, scanning the yard as if searching for the perfect audience for his next chilling recital.
The animatronic plays a mix of screaming, cackling laughter, and a Halloween poem that warns listeners to beware the night when the moon shines bright. Fabric clothing gives the figure a rustic scarecrow appearance, while the sturdy plastic stand helps keep him upright during his performance. An on/off switch controls the decoration, which requires 4 AA batteries for operation.
A Poet of the Pumpkin Patch
Standing an impressive 50 inches tall, Vilevine brings theatrical flair to haunted porches, front yards, and Halloween displays. As the lights flicker inside his wicked grin and his voice drifts through the night air, guests may pause a moment longer than planned. After all, it’s not every evening that a jack-o’-lantern decides to share a poem before the screaming starts.
